| Abstract/Contents: | "The distribution of photosynthetic products within plants of Baron Kentucky bluegrass sod is under investigation. The information obtained from this study will provide a basis for evaluating turf response to environmental and management stresses. Photosynthate distribution is being measured by means of radiotracer techniques involving the radioisotope of carbon, 14C. Mowing influences, diurnal variation, and seasonal differences in photosynthate distribution are being studied." |
