| Abstract/Contents: | "Thirty six varieties of creeping red and hard fescues were seeded in triplicate, 4 by 6 foot plots during October 1977. The grasses established well and some outstanding selections are apparent. Although seldom used in pure stands, as in these trials, the tests do demonstrate the vast improvement that has occurred with fine fescue through selections and breeding." |
