Abstract/Contents: | "Trials were initiated on established turfgrass to evaluate pre- and post-emergence herbicides for the control of smooth crabgrass. The most desirable means of control is through the use of pre-emergence materials which inhibit seed germination. However, where pre-emergent menas are not used, or fail, post-emergent control measures may become necessary. Observe the results of post treatments made one, two and three weeks ago. Note the appearance of the turf and the crabgrass during these stages of control." |
