Abstract/Contents: | "Previous studies have shown that grass top growth and seedheads can be suppressed by the use of chemical retardants. On close-cut turfgrass most of these treatments produced some grass discoloration or injury. Chemical retardants tests were initiated this season to determine if mowing frequency can be reduced by the use of these materials." |
