Abstract/Contents: | "Patches of bentgrass can be considered unsightly and unwanted in turf areas containing other cool-season grasses. Attempts to eliminate bentgrass selectively have been rather fruitless. We are presently evaluating several herbicides for this purpose. Last October treatments were started in three separate Kentucky bluegrass and /or red fescue areas. A fourth test was started in July in a perennial ryegrass area. We have also retreated some of the October test plots on July 25th." |
