| Abstract/Contents: | "Cocksfoot mild mosaic and two hitherto unreported viruses, one from bromegrasses and one from Holcus lanatus, were isolated from grasses collected in north and mid Wales. All had isometric particles c.28 nm in diameter and were transmissible by sap inoculation, but they differed in their host-range and symptomatology. Serologically, none were identical, but all were sufficiently closely related to each other and to phleum mottle virus to be considered as strains of a single virus." |
