Abstract/Contents:"Colonial bentgrass has essentially been abandoned as a lawn grass species. Problems of management in last years plus availability of improved variety of Colonial bentgrass such as Exeter it seems appropriate to initiate management studies that might again permit the use of this species for general turf usage. Of all grasses used for turf in New England Colonial bentgrass is perhaps the most adapted to native soils and climatic conditions."
