Abstract/Contents:"The object is to determine the effect of one, two and three years application of several preemergence chemicals on immediate and residual crabgrass control and on tolerance of lawn-type turf to the herbicides. The area was seeded in September 1963 to a Kentucky bluegrass-red fescue mixture. The only fertilizer applied to the area was following crabgrass emergence in July of 1964."
