| Abstract/Contents: | Presents research conducted at North Carolina State University in which "fungicides were evaluated for control of summer patch...on 'Unique' Kentucky bluegrass maintained under conditions to mimic an intensively managed landscape." Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "disease severity assessments were based on a 0-5 scale where 0=no necrosis, and 5=total patch necrosis. A disease index was calculated for each plot by multiplying the average patch diameter value by the average disease severity value." Reports that "only Armada significantly reduced patch diameter, but Banner Maxx, Heritage, and Bayleton also maintained average patch diameter below 1 inch." |
