Abstract/Contents:"Red thread caused by the fungus Laetisaria fuciformis (McAlp.) Burdsall 1979 (anamorph Isaria fuciformis Berk.), which causes patches on turfgrass, is a very common and widespread disease. Outbreaks occur predominantly in older stands and in stands lacking sufficient nutrition. Important to disease incidence is also variety resistance (Caga and evc(íková, 2009). The objective of the study was to find out the effect of turf stand management (cutting, mulching) and the effect of fertilizers and their rates on the incidence of this disease in the turf composed of grass monocultures, grass and clover-grass mixtures."
