Abstract/Contents:"White clover (Trifolium repens) is mainly referred to as an undesirable species in turf grass. Nevertheless, white clover has several advantages. Colour, wear, disease and drought stress tolerance as well as the biological fixation of air nitrogen argue for a potential use in lawns. The aim of the study was to identify aspect, colour, composition and ground coverage of the clover in a Microclover-ryegrass-mixture and provide a rating for practical experience. From 2006 to 2009 field trials evaluated the role of four different N-fertilisations with and without wear on the quality and composition of a Microclover turf. Additionally the attribute microphyllous of Microclover was reviewed by pot trials."
