Abstract/Contents:Relates two rulings of local ordinances regarding the application of fertilizers and pesticides on lawns. The first ordinance requires commercial lawn care companies to post a one square foot sign on lawns the day before an application of fertilizers was applied. The second ruling on posting of lawns was in favor of the PLCAA stating that Congress, when writing FIFRA, had specifically excluded local governments from controlling pesticide use, and that requiring preconditions for applying pesticides was in fact regulating the use of pesticides, which is illegal.
