Reports that "a new fee system will be mandated upon those in the 11 county metropolitan area whom draw their water from non-stressed aquifers." Details two acts of legislation to be voted on in 2010 regarding the Mt. Simon-Hinckley aquifer in Minnesota. States that "I request the Minnesota Golf Course Superintendents' Association...develop a plan supported by allied golf associations, educate our foes, [and] partner with our legislatures and the state water management agencies to develop a best management program to assure our access to this life blood of our industry." |
