Abstract/Contents:Briefly presents a study on "the effect of overseeding technology on winter-green of Zoysia turf for sports fields...so as to provide a theoretical basis for sustaining its development in China's tropical and subtropical regions." Details the materials and methods employed during the study, stating that "the turfgrass was planted with 3 seeding rates...[and] perennial ryegrass was used for overseeding." Reports that "the turf character got better with the increase of overseeding rate, while the difference between overseeding treatments...[were] not significant." Concludes that "zoysia turf overseeded with ryegrass had longer green-period and better turf qualities."
