Abstract/Contents:Briefly reports on the research priorities for Forage Grass Breeding and Genetics in North Dakota as of 1988. Provides a brief summary on the status of previous research topics, including the release of the cultivars Forestburg (switchgrass) and Bonilla (Andropogon gerardii); the variability of In Vitro Digestibility of Organic Matter levels in western wheatgrass; the "first generation autotetraploid progeny of Russian wildrye"; the heritability of resistance to Septoria spraguei leaf spot on Russian wildrye; and the crossing of 12 strains of intermediate wheatgrass.
