Abstract/Contents: | Lists the research priorities of the grass cytogenetics program at the Forage and Range Unit at Utah State University as: "To continue to describe biological relationships between grass taxa through genome analysis of species and species hybrid complexes, with their fertility, morphology, and geography," and to "develope [develop] through interspecific and intergeneric hybridization programs potential breeding stock that will be valuable in increasing grazing and forage production on the Western Rangelands." Briefly discusses the two studies undertaken "to explain the genomic variation that exists between...Elymus caucasicus and E. dahuricus." |
