Abstract/Contents: | Briefly discusses previous research on Kentucky bluegrass from 1971-86, and explains that seeded bermudagrass is the research priority (as of 1988) at the Farmers Marketing Corporation in Phoenix, Arizona. States that "crosses were attempted in crossing blocks set out vegetatively...Seed production was variable but some seed was produced for about a third of the crosses attempted." Briefly details future research plans, reporting that "in 1988, something over 600 plants from cross progenies will be set out for observation at each of two locations in Virginia." |
