Abstract/Contents: | Discusses insect-parasitic nematodes in Ohio, such as Steinernemia capocupsai and Heterorhabdits bacteriophora. These nematodes kill cut worms, army worms, webworms, billbugs, turfgrass ataenius and white grubs. Also discusses how chemical controls are killing these beneficial nematodes, which are in some cases more effective than the chemical controls. |
