Abstract/Contents:Presents research conducted at Pennsylvania State University to "[evaluate] fungicidal control of brown patch in colonial bentgrass fairway." Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "the treatments were applied on 17 Jun [June], 1, 15 and 29 Jul [July], and 12 Aug [August] on a 14-day interval. Brown patch severity was assessed on 27 and 31 Jul, and 5, 12, and 20 Aug." Reports that "Tartan (1 fl oz [fluid ounce]) and low rate of Heritage (0.2 oz) provided acceptable control."
