| Abstract/Contents: | Presents research conducted at Pennsylvania State University to evaluate fungicides "[for the] control of Dreschslera leaf spot/melting-out of Kentucky bluegrass." Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "curative applications were made on 3, 17, and 31 May on a 14-day interval. Assessment of the spring leaf spot incidence was conducted on 12 May, and subsequent severity assessments were made on 13, 20, and 27 May, and 3, 10, and 17 Jun [June]." Reports that "although all fungicides tested in this trial provided adequate control of spring leaf spot, significant control was achieved by application of Heritage TL (2.0 fl oz [fluid ounces]), Insignia (0.9 oz), the high rate of Civitas (17.6 fl oz), Banner MAXX (1.6 fl oz), and Daconil Ultrex (1.6 oz)." |
