| Abstract/Contents: | "Persistence of Dursban (O,O-diethyl 0-3,5,6-trichloro- 2-pyridyl phosphorothioate) , and its oxygen analog (0,0- diethyl 0-3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridyl phosphate) was examined on Coastal bermudagrass and corn forage in the field and in jar silos. Residues, determined from field applications of Dursban insecticide sprays at 1 lb/acre, decreased rapidly in Coastal bermudagrass pasture and corn; low levels of the oxygen analog were also detected. Residues remained relatively stable in grass and corn silage." |
