Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the benefits of competition in regards to weeds. Explains that while competition can be healthy, it may not be when considering the "struggle for supremacy" between weeds and grass. Suggests that "the groundsman's task could be simplified" if was able to cultivate mixed turf, adding that some plants may have "valuable attributes which could be made to out-weigh the disadvantages." |
