Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the possible difficulty in repairing the base lines of tennis courts. Suggests that "wealthy clubs with several courts can arrange to rest them periodically on a rotational basis so that wear is evenly distributed." Recommends that clubs unable to do so can "lift a strip of turf about a yard wide from near the nets...[and use it] for repairing the base lines and the denuded portion of the court, then...[renovate] with seed." |
