Abstract/Contents: | Briefly discusses the possible difficulty in renovating sports turf in circumstances where there may only be a short amount of time allotted. Suggests that "rapid colonisation of bare areas depends...upon the composition of the seeds mixture used but even the best seeds mixtures will fail to give satisfactory results unless care is taken to carry out thorough cultural operations before sowing." Indicates that it may be especially important to follow the suggestions on heavy clay soils. |
