Describes the possibly minimal maintenance required to maintain bermudagrass, detailing ways to ensure its health in the summer and winter. Briefly examines the price of sodding bermudagrass, indicating that "most bluegrass and fescue are cheaper." Discusses the possibility of winterkill and explains the characteristics of bermudagrass with regards to its classification as a warm-season grass. Details the maintenance procedures it may require, including watering, aerification, and mowing. Concludes that "soil temperatures appear to be the biggest hurdle for bermudagrass to survive in the mid-Atlantic region."
