| Abstract/Contents: | Presents an insecticide evaluation for control of black cutworms (BCW) on creeping bentgrass greens. Reports granule products were applied using a drop spreader and lightly irrigated after treatment, and liquid formulations were applied using a Toro self-propelled sprayer. Notes that "treatments were evaluated 67, 95, and 140 DAT (days after treatment) by counting the no. of active (i.e. with recent feeding) BCW burrows." Summarizes that all treatments provided significant reduction in BCW numbers at 67 DAT compared to the untreated control, but differences were not detected at 95 and 140 DAT. |
