Abstract/Contents: | "Research has been underway since 1998 to produce a fine textured triploid bermudagrass (by using radiation) that will produce high quality turf at a 1/8 inch mowing height. TifEagle is a product of that effort and is being officially released in 1997. Commercial sprigs should be abailable [available] in 1998. In addition to improved turf quality, it shows non-preference to the tawny mole cricket after the first year of establishment." |
