| Abstract/Contents: | Profiles University of Wisconsin turfgrass research conducted during 2010, highlighting studies concerning biosolid application rates; the interactions of soil pH (potential Hydrogen) and mycorrhizal colonization of creeping and velvet bentgrasses; nutrient leachate differences between seed and sod site establishment; perennial ryegrass cultivar performance; nitrogen requirements; growth regulators; and crabgrass treatment. Briefly details procedures and methods used during each experiment, and summarizes results. Provides tables and charts detailing "preemergent liquid formulations on crabgrass treatments," "percent crabgrass cover," and "turfgrass quality." Concludes that 2010 was "a welcomingly busy year." |
