Abstract/Contents: | Overviews results from the Turfgrass Diagnosis Lab in 2010, mentioning that there was a high increase in received samples. Notes the changes in weather during the Spring months, explaining that the "warm, wet, and humid...[weather was] a perfect recipe for fungal infection of turfgrass plants." Reports that the majority of samples received were affected by summer patch or "poor root development of the annual bluegrass plants." Discusses the recovery procedures employed by superintendents once the weather changed in September. Briefly thanks the members of the the Turfgrass Diagnosis Lab for their support and encourages other courses to join. |
