| Note: | Correction appears in Turf-Grass Times, 4(4) May 1969, p. 19: "In the recent March issue, a serious printing error occurred in Turf Tidbits. In the second paragraph of the article on 'Phenoxy compounds in weed control', columnist Holman Griffin's copy was wrongly set. The first sentence of this paragraph should have read '...Most other phenoxy compunds such as 2,4,5-T, Silvex (2,4,5-TP) and MCPP, to mention a few of the more common formulations for turf work, have effect on turf similar to 2,4-D but not the same applications." We apologize to Holman for this printing error and we appeal to those sharp readers who picked up this error to blame the publisher, not the columnist, for improperly labeling these important phenoxy materials. -The Publishers"
