| Abstract/Contents: | 0.22 g a.i. atrazine/m2 reduced stolon numbers and length, number of nodes and number of rooted nodes/stolon of St. Augustine grass (Stenotaphrum secundatum) cv. Floratum and Seville at 2 weeks after establishment. 6 weeks after treatment, numbers of stolons and nodes were still lower than in untreated plots. Atrazine reduced weeds effectively but allowed opt. growth of turf. Weed numbers/plot were 7.3 in mulched plots and 0.8 in herbicide-treated plots (with or without mulch). No significant difference was found between cv. |
