Abstract/Contents:Briefly mentions research conducted at Rutgers University to assess "the effect of high rates of soluble-N [nitrogen] fertilization during the summer on anthracnose severity of ABG [annual bluegrass] turf maintained at 3.2 mm [millimeters]." Reports that "as the season progressed each year, increased disease severity was observed in plots receiving N at 19.6 and 29.4 kg ha-1 [kilograms per hectare] every 7-d [seven days]."
