| Abstract/Contents: | Studied registered and experimental fungicide rust control in Kentucky bluegrass for cases when vigorous turf growth for a rust prevention is not a management option. Registered fungicides evaluated were plant vax (75% oxycarboxin), fore (80% mancozeb), Daconil 2787(75% chlorothalonil), Acti-dione TGF (21% cycoheximide) and Tersan LSR(80% mancozeb). Experimental products tested were Bayleton(25% triadimefon), CGA 64251, Baycon, Furavax and Bay 0599. Trials were conducted at San Jose and Ventura. for the San Jose trials, the [#1]. For the Ventura trials, the [#2]. Application rates and rust ratings with significant differences indicated are presented in tables.[#3] |
