| Abstract/Contents: | Evaluated effect of 4 fertility treatments on sod strength, color, density, quality, vigor, and weed infestation of Kentucky Bluegrass established from sod. Treatments were incorporated into the upper inch of soil prior to sodding. Ratings were made from 6/9/89 to 11/15/89. Treatments are: Bova-Mura at 16oz/1000ft2 ("m"), Milorganite 20lb/"m", Ringer 10lb/"m" and compost-manure, wet 300lb/"m". All treatments in all catagories showed no significant differences in their ratings at the 0.05 confidence level. |
