Abstract/Contents: | Study of 20 herbicide treatments for postemergence of Dicot weed on mixed stand consisting of Kentucky Bluegrass, Red fescue, and Perennial Ryegrass. Treatments were applied on 6/5/89 in a randomized complete block design with 4 reps. Weed control ratings were made on 7/20/89. Dicot weeds were Dandelion, Knotweed, Black Medic, and Mouse Ear Chickweed. The following treatments gave better than 90% control of all four Dicot weeds: Trimec Classic at 3lb/A, Trimec Encore at 3lb/A, Rivdl Triamine at 3lb/A, Lesco 3-way at 3lb/A, Turflon II AMI at 3lb/A, Trimec at 3lb/A, and Trimec at 4lb/A. Herbicide injury was not significantly different among treatments (p<.05) and ranged from 0.3-1.3 on a scale of 1-10 (10=most severe injury). |
