| Abstract/Contents: | Evaluated effect of fungicides on dollar spot control on Penneagle bentgrass and on degree of browning in July and August of 1988. methods of fungicide application and experimental design are presented. A table provides fungicides used and rate and timing of application. Disease pressure was insufficient to make meaningful comparisons among treatments for control of dollar spot. On July 20, a slightly enhanced green color of turf was noted for SAN 519F at 0.2 g and 0.3 g treatment levels and 21-day spray interval. All three treatments of Spotless 25W showed more pronounced browning of turf than SAN 619F on August 19; however, the degree of browning was still slight to moderate. |
