| Abstract/Contents: | Provides a method for determining growth regulator application frequency using growing degree days (GDD). Briefly details information regarding plant growth regulators (PGRs), and states that "researchers have found that the duration of the suppression phase is dependent upon air temperature." Summarizes previous studies conducted on re-application timing for PGRs, reporting that "the 100 and 200 GDD re-application frequencies maintained season-long yield suppression." Emphasizes that 200 GDD refers only to Primo MAXX (trinexapac-ethyl) applications to creeping bentgrass golf greens. |
