Abstract/Contents:Describes environmental factors (climatic, plant, and soil) which affect chemical weed control. Climatic factors discussed include temperature, humidity, precipitation, and wind. Plant factors discussed include how the growth pattern and growth stage of the weed affects herbicide effectiveness. Soil factors discussed include soil texture, organic matter, and pH.
