Overviews reduction of maintenance costs, bench-marking exercises, contracting out maintenance jobs, leasing sports facilities in order to make money, and other cost-saving tips. Concludes that "there are often other ways to reduce the cost to the Local Authority providing services which would not necessarily lead to immediate redundancies."
