| Abstract/Contents: | "The experiment was conducted at the Turf Field Center, NCSU, Raleigh, NC on bentgrass. The area selected for the experiment had shown severe symptoms of dollar spot and brown patch in previous years. The research area was managed as per bentgrass golf green and was irrigated as needed. All treatments were applied on 16 May, 16 Jun and 14 Jul with a CO2 backpack sprayer in 2.5 gal water/1000 sq ft. Plots were 5 ft long by 5 ft wide. Treatments were arranged in randomized complete black design with four replications. Turf quality (TQ), % dollar spot (DS), and % brown patch (BP) were rated periodically. Disease pressure was light. Few significant differences among treatments for DS, BP or TQ occurred in the experiment. No phytotoxicity was observed." |
