Abstract/Contents: | Discusses golfer perceptions of course conditions following cuts in maintenance budgets. States that "the results [of a golfer survey] found only one in four golfers noticed conditions had deteriorated." Suggests that the economic recession in 2008 may have discouraged golfers to spend on merchandise and rounds of golf, and that because of this, "'golfers are somewhat accepting of lowered maintenance standards.'" |
