Abstract/Contents:Presents research conducted at the University of Georgia (UGA) "to evaluate the effects of several commercial products on the root and shoot growth of Tifway bermudagrass sprigs." Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "this study was conducted in the UGA rhizotron." Reports that "in regard to root number, there was no significant difference among treatments. Likewise, there was no significant difference among treatments in terms of total rooting length after the first application." Concludes that "there was no difference in turf color for any of the treatments tested."
