They include: 'Penncross' creeping bentgrass, 'Tifgreen' bermudagrass, 'Kentucky 31' tall fescue, and 'Common' centipedegrass." Reports that "root initiation and elongation occurred at soil temperatures as low as 40°F at the 4" [inch] depth."
