Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted "to evaluate the performance of Diamond zoysiagrass in shade maintained under golf course putting green conditions." Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "plots within each shade treatment either received no additional treatment or were treated with Primo Maxx." Reports that "throughout both years, 90% [percent] shade treatments with and without Primo Maxx application remained below commercially acceptable turf quality levels." Concludes that "it appears Diamond zoysiagrass has the potential to grow as a putting green surface in certain shaded environments."
