Abstract/Contents:On March 1, 1988 notification was received concerning the impending demise of products containing Mercury and Cadmium. Registration was to be cancelled and products withdrawn by March 31, 1988. This would mean the loss of Barmac PMA 10, which gives adequate control of all common fungal diseases including brown patch, dollar spot, curvularia and helminthosporium. Loss of this product would lead to increased time necessary to achieve adequate control of fungal disease, especially with more than one present. Good news though, the state registration office has rescinded--products containing Cadmium are still to be withdrawn by the stated date, Barmac PMA 10 is to continue to be sold until further notice.
