| Abstract/Contents: | "Each year the American Sod Producers Association publishes reports from seed companies. This material is summarized under two headings: New Varieties and New Research. The availability of varieties and an estimate of their pricing is in chart form for quick reference. The participants emphasize that this portion of their report is based on May projections of the 1985 crop and, therefore, a wide range of environmental conditions could change some of the data at any time." The tables provide seed availability and pricing for cultivars of Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, turf type tall fescue, fine leaved fescue, sod/sprigs, and others. |
