Abstract/Contents:Presents research conducted at the University of California, Riverside to evaluate fungicides "[in order] to assess the ability of using a reduced spray program combined with a gray leaf spot-tolerant perennial ryegrass variety." Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "disease severity was normalized using an arcsin (y) transformation, and was analyzed by ANOVA [analysis of variance]." Reports that "generally, under good disease pressure, all of the fungicidal treatments provided very good control of the disease." Concludes that "statistically, all treatments performed the same."
