Abstract/Contents: | Describes a three year course of instruction for the declared vocation of Gardener/ Greenkeeper. The course develops in the student a wide range of horticultural skills and experiences. The contents of the courses are designated by three stages. The first stage consists of elementary horticulture topics. The second stage has general horticulture studies. In the third stage students may specialise in specific industry related studies. The required length of the course is 797 hours. Applicants must be indentured an apprentice in the Gardening/Greenkeeping trade. |
