Abstract/Contents:Fenoxaprop is a new herbicide for postemergence control of large crabgrass and goosegrass seedlings in cool season turfgrasses and zoysiagrass turf. It can provide outstanding control of small crabgrass and goosegrass with one application when good spray coverage is achieved. It is vital to examine carefully for size of seedlings. Tank mixing with Pendimethalin gave longer control than just fenoxaprop alone. "Fenoxaprop is safe on tall fescue and zoysiagrass, but not on bermudagrass turfs."
