Abstract/Contents:The Regulation 636, Registered Applicator Regulator, is in its final stages and on September 17, there will be a meeting held by the Department of Agriculture to discuss the contents. This rule will require that every applicator receive verifiable training and then take a 100 question test prior to making any application of a pesticide. In order to become a trainer you must be certified in the category you will be training, have a minimum of two years experience, complete a training course for trainers. Regulation 637, will govern the "reasonable and proper use" of pesticides and give the Department of Agriculture the right to enforce all practices that are now law.
